The project is comprised of laying 36.25km-long main ballast less track, laying concrete ballast less track bed with a volume of about 25,000m3, laying 7.4km-long track for car depot and other lines, laying 43.66km-long conductor rail, supplying and installing 74 sets of turnout and installing a 19.87km-long emergency evacuation platform.
Characteristics and Significance of the Project:
The Ampang LRT Project, constructed by CHEC, is the longest LRT line in Malaysia, which is of great significance for CCCC to open up the railway market of Malaysia and even Southeast Asia. The successful completion of Ampang LRT Project -Malaysia, will play an important role in radiating the subsequent railway projects and it has won a good reputation for CCCC and CHEC in the industry.
