Project specification:

The contract is divided into two parts: IK (in Saudi Arabia) and OOK (outside Saudi Arabia).

IK is mainly for civil engineering and electromechanical installation and construction while OOK is mainly for design and the procurement of main materials/equipment. It is mainly comprised of foundation improvement, pile foundation engineering, channel engineering, lagoon, road engineering, bridge engineering, pumping station and substation, HDPE pipeline engineering, electromechanical engineering, etc. As well as it also constitute the electromechanical engineering covers 1 large pumping station, 2 substations, chlorine and dosing system, underground pipelines, communication system, control systems etc .

The Jizan IGCC Water Intake and Drainage Project is the first EPC project contracted by CHEC in Jizan Economic City, Saudi Arabia. It is also the most challenging large-scale comprehensive industrial facilities project with the largest contract amount and involving the most complex specialties among all projects under the Jizan program. The project aims mainly to supply water for the core industrial facilities in Jizan Economic City such as refineries and power plants, and drain the waste water into the deep sea. The designed intake and drainage rate is 500,000m3 per hour, which is of great significance to the normal operation of Jizan Economic City.

Characteristics and Significance of the Project:

This project is an extension of Jizan Dredging and Reclamation project in Saudi Arabia through successful commercial operation. It was constructed strictly in accordance with the Saudi Aramco management system, which demonstrates CHEC’s powerful strength in constructing multi-specialty comprehensive EPC industrial facilities projects.
