CHEC Participates in a Series of Activities at the Fourth China-African Economic and Trade Expo
On June 12th, the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was held in Changsha. Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nabbanja - Prime Minister of Uganda, Conger - Vice President of Liberia, and Mudavadi - Chief Cabinet Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya attended the Expo and delivered speeches. Chen Zhong - Vice President of CCCC, and Bai Yinzhan - Chairman of CHEC, were invited to attend the opening ceremony and participated in a series of activities such as the Exchange Event on China-Africa Infrastructure Cooperation.

Aktau Port Container Hub Pilot Zone Jointly Built by China and Kazakhstan Officially Launched
Recently, the first-phase pilot zone of the Aktau Port Container Hub project undertaken by CHEC was officially launched. Nurlan Zhakupov - Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhstan Fund Joint Stock Company, Nurdaulet Kireybay - Governor of Mangistau Region,and Ren Dong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Lianyungang Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Lianyungang attended the launch ceremony and delivered speeches. Representatives from both China and Kazakhstan jointly pressed the start button of the project. Lu Yunpeng, Deputy General Manager of CHEC, was present at the event.

Recently, Sal Laher - Chief Digital and Information Officer and Managing Director of IGT 1 Sri Lanka Outsourcing Services C., Ltd. (IGT 1), a subsidiary of the Swedish IGT Holding Group, has signed a lease agreement with the person in charge of CHEC Port City Colombo (PVT) Ltd. This marks the official entry of the Swedish IGT 1 Information Technology Company into the business center of Colombo Port City.
